December 1926: the victorious National Revolutionary Army commanded by Bai Chongxi is approaching Shanghai where CCP and GMD agents are busy planning an uprising. Behind the scenes, high-ranking warlord officers are negotiating a comfortable future for themselves in exchange for betraying their masters while Jiang Jieshi is plotting with the Green Gang to get rid of his communist allies.

This is a time of dishonest plots and brutal action.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
Don’t expect to be able to jump right into this game without effort.
The uprising mechanics may be new to some of you, and the historical situation depicted is very complex, so you won’t escape reading texts and tooltips if you want to understand what is going on.
Your efforts will be rewarded by a unique experience

The content of the Demo is very limited and focuses on Uprising management.
As the Chinese Communist Party, you will plan the Shanghai Uprising, take over the city and try to survive to the political split with the GMD.
This is enough to be an uprising simulator stand alone, …but not enough to grasp the whole game experience.
