关于游戏
本作为 METAL GEAR 系列的第4部游戏。 Metal Gear Solid 2 叙述2个部分的故事：在 Tanker 章节中， Solid Snake 追踪称为 Metal Gear的最高机密新型核武，潜入伪装的油轮之中。
而在 Plant 章节，新生 FOXHOUND 部队的 Raiden 潜入被恐怖份子占据的海上设施。
本作也导入以第一人称主观视角使用武器，以枪口限制住敌人行动，还有抱起或拖行击倒的敌人等等新的游戏动作。
也收录有限定数位版Screenplay Book与Master Book，详细介绍Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty游戏中的故事与角色。
